Organice AEC webcast part VIII: "What is the latest version of this drawing?"
Organice schedules an 8th webcast on December 11 for the AEC industry with the theme: "What is the latest version of this drawing?"
HEERLEN, THE NETHERLANDS, December 05, 2008 /Architecture PR News/ -- The Cadac Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, has scheduled a series of webcasts around the central theme: "bridging the GAP for the AEC". As a solution provider for the AEC and other project driven engineering industries, the Cadac Group is often confronted with companies struggling to create the right conditions for managing their project documents and for collaborating with their project partners. With a series of webcasts, the Cadac Group will address typical needs and challenges in the AEC and provides practical tips and tricks to improve the business process of project driven organizations.
The 8th webcast on December 11 is titled: "What is the latest version of this drawing?" During this 45 minute session the Cadac Group will focus on the challenges of managing the different versions of your drawings and documents. You are probably aware that SharePoint includes a revision system, but are you really using all the options this system has to offer? We will show you the best way to use the SharePoint revision system in line with your versioning standards. And we will demonstrate the revision functionality that Organice provides beyond the capabilities of SharePoint, which helps you to find, view, compare and work with your different versions in a user friendly way.
The webcasts are hosted by Edwin Elmendorp, President of Cadac Group Inc. and distributor of Organice in the Americas. Each webcast has a morning session (9am EST) and a late afternoon session (6pm EST). Customers from Europe are invited to join the morning session and customers from Asia and the Pacific are invited to join the late afternoon session.
