Dominick Tringali Architects Designs First Gym To Open in Downtown Royal Oak
Architecture Firm Adds Unique Design Approach To Commercial Projects, Expanding Spectrum of Services
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI, January 30, 2009 /Architecture PR News/ -- Dominick Tringali Architects is known for their niche of market housing and luxury residential lifestyle design. However, the firm has now expanded the variety of services they provide, adding commercial building design onto their list. DTA has designed twelve commercial projects in the past three years, including two kitchen showrooms, various office buildings, retail spaces, lifestyle malls, and now an upscale gym in downtown Royal Oak. The unique benefit of a commercial building designed by DTA is that designers take their residential experience and the features they would normally spec on high-end luxury custom homes and now apply them to commercial projects, adding a signature, luxury-custom flavor to each design.
The firm recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Trevarrow Showroom it designed in Parma, Ohio in late October of 2006. The showroom features six different kitchen vignettes displaying the latest in Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. Bold, vibrant colors and all of the current trends in kitchen d cor provide a modern, unique atmosphere that draws clients into the showroom. DTA also designed their first Trevarrow Kitchen Showroom in Auburn Hills two years ago.
Now, residents of Royal Oak and surrounding cities can anticipate the grand opening of the new World Gym - Royal Oak on March 16th, the first gym to open up in the downtown Royal Oak area. Owned and constructed by Vito Saracino, this state-of-the-art fitness center will feature the finest workout equipment available, cardio and free-weight areas, tanning equipment, and an aerobics center with personal trainers, all outfitted in an upscale, urban theme designed by Dominick Tringali Architects. The design concept was to create a workout experience which is unique from other gyms in the area, through an atmosphere that has a positive effect on its members.
The gym is located downtown on Main Street, on the retail level of the North Main Lofts and will open on Friday, March 16th at 5:00 AM. World Gym Royal Oak and Dominick Tringali Architects will be co-hosting a grand opening event on Thursday, March 22nd for anyone who is interested in touring the new gym and learning more about the benefits of membership. The event will be held at the gym, with tours and workout time from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, and hors d'oeuvres from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The event will feature special guests Body by Rock, and Jennifer Gray from Body Beautiful Boot Camps. Donations will be taken at the door, with all proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County. Raffle tickets will be given out in exchange for donations, giving guests the opportunity to win a plasma television or a free gym membership.
