James T. Haggerty specializes in Single-Family, Modern and Traditional Home Designs
TAMPA, Florida, October 16, 2009 /Architecture PR News/ -- James T. Haggerty, Director of Architecture for M/I Homes, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of architecture. Specifically in the area of single and multi-family home design.
With 24 years of professional experience, Mr. Haggerty is considered an accomplished residential designer and expert in code research, construction systems analysis/design, specifications writing and component detailing. He lends his talents to M/I Homes, a residential construction company, as Director of Architecture for the Tampa Division. He designs single and multi-family homes adhering to market trends and demands, energy efficiency and "green" building principles as prescribed by the Florida Green Building Coalition. Mr. Haggerty has been directly involved with a wide variety of building types and systems, honing his skills in the commercial and condominium markets and later finding his niche in the design of both modern and more traditional single-family homes. He attributes his success to his varied work experience and exposure to the multitude of building typologies encountered throughout his career.
Mr. Haggerty earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed architect in the State of Florida, holds a certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is passionate about residential design specifically suited for the Florida sub-tropical climate, enjoys working with residential builders and looks forward to continuing in the same capacity to advance residential design.
