April 12 Deadline for Gold Nugget Awards 2010 Design/Planning Competition, with New Opportunities, Simplified Process and Great Recognition
Design/Development Pros Still Have Time To Be Counted in Green, On the Boards, International and Specialty Projects
SANTA BARBARA, CA, April 10, 2010 /Architecture PR News/ -- Gold Nugget Awards (GNA) invites eligible entries for its 47th annual competition. Showcasing the "Best in the West" and around the world, GNA honors stellar achievements in design and planning from the Western US and all international countries.

Categories cover community design, design of detached and attached homes, site planning, seniors housing, commercial, retail and mixed use projects. This year's program expands entry opportunities for international, on the boards and green projects, and debuts "special focus" spaces: kitchen, bath, outdoor spaces and interior specialty rooms. 2010 entrants may re-submit eligible entries from previous years.
"Gold Nugget is the achievement benchmark for architects, planners, builders and developers in the Western United States," said Doug Dahlin, AIA, President of Dahlin Group Architecture Planning and a 2010 Gold Nugget Judge. "We look to Gold Nugget to measure our work, get inspiration from fellow competitors and to celebrate together the exceptional talent and innovation that come to the forefront each year."
