Liability of Excessive Snow Loads
Building codes require employers to monitor excessive snow loads on their roof
OTTAWA, CANADA, May 21, 2010 /Architecture PR News/ -- Thousands of building codes have been developed in North America, however there are no codes governing snow guard products, installation procedures, and standards to protect the consumer. According to The National Water Service, winter weather damage causes $3 billion to $6 billion in damages each year depending on the severity of the season.
