John Henry Architects is an architectural firm which specializes in designing aged care and healthcare facilities. The company also undertakes commercial, institutional and residential projects. They manage each job from start to completion, providing briefing, schematic design development, construction, documentation, contract administration and post occupancy services.
Mr. Henry is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations, monitoring designs, scheduling jobs and supervising his staff. During his educational career, John earned fellowship diplomas in Architecture and Town Planning and a Master's degree in Project Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
John has been the recipient of numerous awards for his work. Among those commendations were the inaugural Architeam Architecture Award for medium size buildings in 2005, the National Residential Interior Design Award in 2006, the Best of State Residential Interior Design Award in 2006, and the 2007 RAIA Victorian Chapter Colorbond Steel Award.
