Lawson is an expert home builder who has been responsible for the construction of over 35,000 homes. During his educational career, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Lawson is part of the Founding Board of the Trinity Christian Academy and Chairman of the Board for the Dallas Bible College. He is also on the Board of the Home Builders Association and the Board of Directors for the Dallas Housing Authority.
