SOFALA, NSW, AUSTRALIA, June 24, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Paddy Robinson has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational work in the Architecture Industry. As Owner and Director of Finglinna Studios Pty. Ltd., as well as throughout her brilliant 40 plus years in the field, Paddy has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Paddy has been working with stained glass for over 40 years. Her work includes architectural glass commissions in many techniques- slab glass-dalles de verre, painting, engraving, laminating, sandblasting as well as exhibition works which have been created in engraved, painted, fused, slumped, laminated and cast. Paddy's commission work, usually in public buildings, such as churches or clubs is either modern or traditional in style and technique, this work is placed architecturally throughout New South Wales.
In her early career Paddy worked with Stephen Moor and David Saunders, before in 1989 forming Finglinna Studio with Neil Finn. She trained in stained glass with Edward Marr in Belfast, Northern Ireland and later in engraving with Anne Dybka in Sydney. Paddy's exhibition work has been collected in Australia, America, Britain and the Czech Republic.
During her educational career, Paddy earned a Diploma of Stained Glass from Belfast College of Art in 1964 and a Teaching degree in 1965. In the time away from her busy schedule, she breeds Irish Wolfhounds.
