Pardee Homes' Hampton Lane Wins 2011 SoCal Award for Best Outdoor Living Space

Hampton Lane is an exciting new neighborhood of coastal-close homes in North San Diego County and is the recipient of a SoCal Award for Best Outdoor Living Space. These charming homes have side courtyards that expand the home's indoor living space.

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 02, 2011 /Architecture PR News/ -- Pardee Homes has earned new honors for neighborhood design at Hampton Lane, by winning the Best Outdoor Living Space award at the 2011 SoCal Awards presented by the Greater Sales and Marketing Council of Southern California. The award ceremony was held on September 24th at The Grove of Anaheim.

Hampton Lane, located in coastal North San Diego County in master-planned Pacific Highlands Ranch, features charming side courtyards that expand the home's living space and serve as a natural extension of the indoor living area. Courtyards, nestled at the heart of the home, also provide maintenance free outdoor space that is both private and convenient and helped make this project, and particularly the Plan 2 home, a winner in the prestigious SoCal Awards competition.

Sponsored by Sales and Marketing Councils throughout Southern California, The SoCal Awards honor superior achievement in sales, marketing and merchandising excellence. The Sales & Marketing Councils it represents are part of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Inc. Judges represented a cross section of home building's professional disciplines, and toured all eligible communities.

"The SoCal Awards judges were very impressed by the new, fresh styling at Hampton Lane, the homes' incredible outdoor spaces, the models' vibrant interiors and the quality standard features," said Lisa Parrish, Judging Chairman of the awards. "These homes are green, efficiently designed for family living and hit their target market beautifully. Because the judges toured the model home center, they were able to experience the homes with the eyes of the consumer, and they came away very impressed with the level of quality Pardee Homes delivers."

SJA, Inc. of San Juan Capistrano, a progressive firm known for finding innovative solutions to all aspects of landscape design and site planning, designed the award winning outdoor living spaces at Hampton Lane with an aim to appeal to a variety of lifestyles and age groups, according to Russ Johnston, principal at SJA.

Hampton Lane features upscale, small lot homes in three floor plans that provide approximately 2,390 to 2,630 square feet of living space. These classic four bedroom homes have three baths, two-bay + workshop and three-bay garages, and are priced from the high $600,000s. Homes are all two-stories and include welcoming front porch entries and rear-entry garages.

"Our goal with all new home communities is to blend the style people want with the practicality they need, and Hampton Lane is a great example of our most recent achievements in this regard," said Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing for Pardee Homes. "We are delighted with this recognition by the SoCal judges and thank our entire team and the team at SJA, Inc. for their creativity and forward-thinking design solutions."

Pardee Homes is recognized for its superior master-planning concepts, quality homes, responsive customer service and dedication to the educational and civic goals of the communities in which it builds. The company's many awards honor design and planning, and commitment to greener and more sustainable new home development. Visit www.pardeehomes.com.
