R. Bruce Faris Brings Global Architecture Experience to Design Futures
Bruce Faris has worked on corporate and commercial architecture projects all over the world
ORIENT, OH, June 17, 2011 /Architecture PR News/ --R. Bruce Faris, President and Owner of Design Futures, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in architecture.
With 27 years of professional experience, Mr. Faris is considered an expert in corporate and commercial architectural management and design. He brings his considerable talents to Design Futures, his own architecture and design firm. In charge of all business operations, Mr. Faris is responsible for marketing, contract negotiation, business development, and the management of commercial projects.
Prior to establishing Design Futures two years ago, Mr. Faris served as principal and director of marketing for Russia for NBBJ, an international architecture, planning and design firm. His previous work experience also includes stints as the vice president of Goliver and Associates, Inc., a project architect for McKnight & Hosterman Architects, Inc., a project manager for Brubaker/Brandt, Inc., and a project architect for Architectural Alliance. Proud to have struck out on his own, Mr. Faris considers working all over the world and being able to take his children with him to learn about other cultures to be the most enjoyable and rewarding aspect of his career. He attributes his success to his flexibility and integrity.
Mr. Faris received a Bachelor of Science in architecture in 1985 from The Ohio State University. He is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, which recognized him as an Eagle Scout and as a Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow. In 2009, Mr. Faris was named an Executive of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who.
